Introduction
Bloon is a Discord bot that has been created by community member, Bloxri. It helps everyone from AUG to Agent
Hosting
Bloon is hosted on a home desktop computer which sometimes isn't always the most stable thing in the world. Here is a list of specifications of the computer.
- CPU: i7 920 Quad-Core @ 2.67Ghz
- RAM: 12GB 1033mhz G. Skill Ripjaws
- GPU: Nvida Quadro 600
- Motherboard: EVGA X58 SLI
- PSU: Corsair TW 750W Bronze
Other Facts
Bloon is written in C#.
Bloon first appeared as another bot known as Guardbot which first answered its command for the first time on June 26th, 2016.
Bloon has not been the first bot in SBG, first, there was Z26
Unlike Z26, Bloon does not have much of an attitude.
History
Before Bloon, there was another project community member Bloxri created but never released called Intruder+. Intruder+ was able to look at the statistics for players, built-in IRC chat, and displayed how many copies where left in the the store. Everything except the built-in IRC, Bloon now does while remaining a bot in chat.
Bloon first started out doing simple commands and eventually advanced with the help of others including rolig who made Z26
Usage

Bloon (In-Game)
In addition to being an AI, Bloon the balloon does appear in-game, under specific circumstances. Bloon appears in-game when an agent is the only player in a room, and the current map is riverside. Upon this, 30 Bloons will appear in the map, in random locations. The player can shoot these balloons, upon which they will fizz out. If a player is nearby, the balloon will also explode, akin to a grenade. As each bloon is hit, the player will receive a message in the chat, telling him about the statistics of his shots (numbers shot, time, etc). When another player joins the map, the bloons will automatically disappear.
