Doors in Intruder serve to block off and secure areas. Doors can be modified in many ways using the map maker. Doors can also be locked, in which a player must unlock the door with his lock pick (usually 9).
History
- Change Log
- Patch 228 - More doorframes.
- Patch 309 - Stall doors, Fix Security Room door offset.
- Patch 426 - Redid door respawn.
- Patch 450 & 451 - Added custom doors, sliding doors/windows, fixed door handle texture.
- Build 40 - Unity's new physics engine prevents things like players phasing through doors.
- Build 74 - Door angles fixed on Mountainside
- Build 79 - New laser sensors have a start up sound and no longer get triggered through objects and doors! Moving doors or objects will trigger them now however.
Options
By default, doors will be randomly locked or unlocked at the start of every round. Check “Always Lock” or “Never Lock” to change this.
The “Sliding Door” option can be checked to make the door open by sliding instead of swinging.
The “Partner Door” setting is useful for creating double doors. By setting this reference to another door, both doors will be unlocked or locked in tandem. That is, unlocking one will also unlock its partner.
The “Reverse” checkbox changes the direction that a door will swing by default.
