Introduction
Balance is a value that determines how upright your character can be at a given time.
History
- Change Log
- Patch 449 - new recoil systems for more advanced balance dynamics
- Patch 309 - fix negative balance on arrest
Gameplay
At the bottom left of your screen, a Balance meter is shown which will range from 0, to 100. When the meter is showing 100, your character has reached maximum balance and when the meter shows a balance of 0, your character will be "rag-dolled". Balance can be regained during periods of lesser activity. Balance will never go lower than 5, except during “rag-doll” mode.
- Different weapons do different amounts of Balance damage:
- The Vector does 40 balance damage per shot.
- The Shrike and Pistol do 45 balance per shot.
- The Sniper does 95 balance damage per shot.
- The Shotgun does 100 balance damage per shot.
- Pushing someone with the Hands sets their balance to 0.
- All explosions set the balance of players in their radius to 0.
- Players that step on the Banana or other slippery surfaces (like railings) will have their balance set to 0.
- Your Balance is dependent on your current stance:
- Standing:
- 50 When still
- 30 When sprinting
- Crouching:
- 80 When still
- 60 When moving
- Prone:
- 100 When still
- 90 When moving
- Airborne:
