Shield
A transparent, polycarbonate shield that can stop bullets and provide cover from explosives, but still leaves the user vulnerable to hand-to-hand combat.

Overview
The Shield provides excellent cover on-the-go.
The Shield is equipped by pushing the Front Item
or Back Item
keybind, assigned to the number one key (1) and the number two key (2) respectively.
For balance, the shield has a delay when being pulled out before it appears in font of the player. Similarly, putting it away removes it instantly while playing an uncancellable animation.
The shield does not defend from being knocked over with Hands.
While crouching, the shield will clip into the ground to fully cover the user. Crouch walking will raise the shield enough to warrant looking slightly downwards to fully cover the feet. Crouch walking left or right can expose the knee or foot. Standing or aiming upwards will expose the player.
Is automatically unequipped when going prone. Cannot be used on ladders or in water.
Explosions send out "rays" to detect if they hit a player. If all explosion rays are blocked then a player will take no damage. This can even protect someone from a mortar strike! CS Gas ignores shields.
